Blue Roo makes everyone tired by leaping and bouncing in their way. Kate Kookaburra gives a running commentary on the journey and only keeps quiet when she is mimicked by a lyre bird in the bush. Wesley Wombat walks further than ever before, for the mysterious fruit of the blue quandong tree beyond the dense scrub in the deep forest. Their journey is interrupted by a strange, angry creature with huge thumping feet. A creature they never want to see again!
