Excerpt from The British Journal of Dermatology, Vol. 23: September, 1911The fact that some of these naevi may undergo certain degenera tive changes, and, as in the case here dealt with, take on a sarco matous development, is in my opinion in favour of their origin from embryonic connective-tissue cells.
