The entire world is sprinkled with manifestations of "works of the flesh". Real love is twisted, joy has been misplaced as a prospect, the energy for patience has ceased, gentility has taken over gentleness, good works is misinterpreted as goodness, people are failing for lack of faith, the meek are becoming weak and temperance no longer constitute dignity.
But the balm to heal this worldly unrest has been provided in a bunch. The fruit of the
Spirit is an antidote for the works of the flesh. The fall and rise of man relied on the power of the fruit, yet it is God's aid to heal a chaotic world.
