The Lord is with thee! Blessed art thou among women! But she was greatly troubled by his greeting and wondered what such words could mean. Fear not, Mary! For thou hast found favor with God, he said, and went on to tell her of the Son who should be hers, and whom she was to call Jesus. He Shall be great, she was told, and shall be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David, and he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever, and Of his kingdom there shall be no end.Now it came to pass there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be enrolled. And all went to enroll themselves, every one to his own city.
