Many Ministers and Members of the Church of Christ have felt, and expressed their feeling, that a collection of distinctive Evangelical Hymns was still needed. It is in compliance with an oft-repeated request that this effort has been made to supply an existing deficiency. In this book there will be found no hymns that express or suggest doctrines alien to the Spirit of God's Word and foreign to our reformed Church.
