Old Tunes -all the old tunes of merit have been inserted. (between three and four hundred comprising many that are now almost forgotten, although sung by our forefathers In the family devotions and sanctuary of God. The melodies and bases of these tunes are unaltered. Some of the intermediate parts are re~ar ranged to avoid false counterpoint, but never for the mere purpose of suiting our own taste.
