Catholicism in the United States during the twenty-first century will be defined by the passion and the commitment of all baptized women and men who accept the invitation to intentionally give witness of their faith in Jesus Christ. For centuries, countless Catholics from many parts of the world built communities and kept the faith alive nearly in every corner of the country. Today is the turn of a new diverse and hopeful generation of Catholics.
