Meant as a light-hearted adventure it gives pause to the great weight of the world born on the shoulders of the young people. The author advocates for science as the subtext in the novel inviting the reader in to a world they, too, can achieve. Book focuses on the end of the 19th c. and the turn of the 20th c. with all the hope and dreams for a better, more peaceful world.
