The Immodest Hammock is Bill Dodds' second collection of poetry. The poems in this collection span generations, and reflect Bill's love of the unity of past and present. Bill celebrates his Liverpool Irish Nan with a childhood recollection of her oxtail soup laced with sherry, and the taste of tripe stewed with onions and milk. He praises friendship in a sensual series of poems set in France one of which is the 'The Immodest Hammock'.
