A widower, Badal Bhattacharya (Badal da) is cast aside by his children because of his typical traditional views. He has been suffering from a mysterious and seemingly incurable pain and discomfort in his abdomen for the last two years, which is making his life miserable.
When he wants to discuss his health with his children, they do not take him seriously. He feels offended and becomes more critical of them. As a result, his children are less inclined to share their thoughts with their father. This impasse escalates to such heights that a feeling of abandonment overpowers him and makes his stomach condition even worse. he chooses to become a loner till he finds a soulmate and undergoes a complete transformation that makes his children proud.
