This book is a work of fiction set in a rural and rapidly evolving market town, east of the Niger, Nigeria.It depicts the typical rural life with pre-existing social life, security and justice systems, economy, traditional government and social order deep in Igboland in the 70s when western influence was still relatively very low in some areas around there.
