This coin is in the collection of the British Museum, and is unique and unpublished.

Mr. Roach Smith, on the part of Lord Londesborough, exhibited two curious Sceattas, one of the type Ruding P1.1, no. 23, the other much resembling Pl. 2. No. 7, and No. 5 of the Appendix but the coin, which seems to be of base silver, being corroded, the head on the obverse is not perfectly distinct, and appears like the head of a fox or a cat. The dragon on the reverse stands in the opposite direction to that on the coins in the plates referred to.
