When I commenced to practice Homoeopathy, now more than twenty years ago, there was no pocket companion of the kind, and the text books on homoeopathic therapeutics gave little help in matter of attenuation, dose and how often to repeat-the very points most wanted by a novice. One of my objects in writing this book was to supply these details.But the last thing I desire is to be dogmatic - except in in so far as dogmatism can help a beginner.
