For centuries the inconsistency of Protestant practice with Protestant profession has given the Catholic Church grounds upon which to condemn Protestantism. Even today this is the vital issue upon which the Catholic Church arraigns Protestantism, and upon which she challenges and

Catholic condemnation? Will they indeed take the Scripture alone, as their sole authority or will they continue to hold the doctrine and practice of following the authority of the Catholic Church and of wearing the sign of her authority?
It behooves all to understand for themselves this great issue and decide for truth against error, for God rather than man and his institutions, for life and not death. It is time for all to acknowledge that "We ought to obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:29).
