The rising sun bathed the long sandy beach in a warm glow.

There was movement in the sand and little heads peeped out of the large holes which had suddenly appeared. At long last baby turtles who had been warm and snug in their little eggs, started to emerge.

Between them and the sea were many dangers. Shelley the tiny turtle found herself in a mad stampede to get to the sea where she knew she would be safe and yet all she wanted was to rest.

Will she escape the seagulls, crabs and other dangers of the sea?
