The Sadguru of Sakori - Upasani Maharaj, born Kashinath
Govindrao Upasani, (May 5, 1870 -
December 24, 1941) was considered by his
disciples to be a Sadguru. He lived in
Sakori, India and is said to have received
God-realization from Sai Baba of Shirdi.
Upasani Maharaj was the principal teacher
of Meher Baba. Meher Baba first met
Upasani Maharaj in 1914 when latter was
staying in Shirdi with Sai Baba.
