Leilani, a young girl in Hawaii, seeks to understand the Spirit of Aloha. With the help of her grandmother, Leilani meets several Hawaiians who help her to see the magic of the islands. With their help, Leilani learns about respect for the land and the ocean, the importance of hula to the Hawaiian culture and the history and traditions of the people.
