Cormac McCarthy is the author of many acclaimed novels, including The Road, Blood Meridian and No Country For Old Men. In addition to The Stonemason, he is also the author of another play, The Sunset Limited, and several screenplays. Among his honours are the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the PEN/Saul Bellow Award for lifetime achievement in American literature.
