This book is the first collection of Crommelynck's work in English and includes a translation of The Magnanimous Cuckold, as well as The Merchant of Regrets, The Sculptor of Masks, The Childish Lovers, Golden Guts, Carine, or The Young Woman Who Was Crazy about Her Soul, A Small-Hearted Woman, and Hot and Cold, or Mr. Dom's Idea, all written and published between approximately 1910 and 1930.
