In this, the third saga of the Magic Land, we again travel with various mortals and learn of their adventures. We will meet one Joe Sykes, a young newspaper reported for the Henshawe News, who covers the strange happenings in Waterfall Valley and has a weird tale to tell. We later read of Joe's children Declan and Serena who, while on a camping trip, become trapped on a high mountain peak. An Elven lord called Cirrus, who can fly, discovers them and they are rescued from certain death.Another Elven lord we encounter is Ivan who does battle with an evil wizard, intent on obtaining Ivan's castle for himself. During the battle Ivan finds an elf called Penwaggan in hiding. We read of Penwaggan's story and his eventual inheritance of a grand castle and a herd of white Pegai and the ensuing story…
