I have to thank the authorities of the British Museum for permission to reproduce in facsimile Kyd's letter to Sir T. Puckering and part of the so-called 'atheistic treatise, which he states that he got from Marlowe. I have also to thank Mr. J. A. Herbert of the Department of mss.
