The book "Through the Eyes of a Child" is about Theoma's childhood. The book was written as a result of many prophecies received. At first, Theoma never understood the importance of writing the book. Her awareness of the need to write her book was heightened after embarking on a 40 day fast. She understands that she will not have clarity and healing unless she revisits the events of her past. The book has allowed Theoma to peel off the layers of many events, which she buried with each passing year. As Theoma chronicles the events of her childhood in the book she comes to the revelation that many of the decisions which she made as an adult was as a direct result of fearful and traumatic events from her childhood. The book explores many incidents and events such as her challenges and humiliating experiences at school, being lost at a church bazaar at age 2 to 3, her emotional abuse from her father, witnessing her mother's demise after years of stress and domestic disputes and much more. However, Theoma continues to give glory to God who is the author and finisher of her faith. Theoma also believes in Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
