Timberline Lodge - the magnificent Oregon icon on Mount Hood - is one the few twentieth-century American buildings of its size constructed and furnished entirely by hand. It is dedicated by Franklin D Roosevelt in September 1937 and is a National Landmark since 1977. This title includes biographical sketches of nearly 60 artists.
