Tom the Owl lives in a mesquite tree out in the desert, but he doesn't know how he got there. No one else is around. He is very lonely and suspects he may have owl amnesia. He stays put in spite of his loneliness until a sharp pink Caddy rounds the corner on the dusty road near his tree.
