This book defends a particular theory of free choice incompatibilism, the belief that free will is not possible in a totally causal universe. The author attempts to prove this position throughout the work both by appealing to the almost universally accepted Copenhagen Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics and applying it in the rival theory of compatibilism its failure to take free choice seriously.
