Two Latinas from Santa Monica High school students show up to the chief of the Santa Monica Police Department Detective Joe Zuma asking for help as they are being harassed at UCLA where they go to meet boys. He is unable to help them directly and the he women , are shot. suspects include students from UCLA, activist women from Santa Monica High school and a high school principal who he has been having affairs. The principal is murdered and the husband becomes a suspect.


A Japanese man is found murdered at the same spot as the two Latinas and cries are made to have Zuma's scalp for racist behavior. Interviews conducted at the Apple Pan, the principal's office and the activist women narrows the list of suspects to five."
