Examines who gains from organizational change initiatives associated with work-place partnership between employers, employees, and trade unions. It looks at the conditions which produce mutual gains cooperation, how it is developed in practice and, crucially, how and why mutual gains partnership is 'institutionalized' and then either sustained or retarded.
