But when the work was ready for the printer, it was found impossible to crowd all the matter into one volume. The best thing that could be done was to take out thelives of the actors. Ever since that work was published, I have been waiting the time when this volume could be published. A full account of several chief actors in Rock River history is given in the volume already published, and will not be repeated here.
