This book is for all mommas, but especially those who are pregnant or in those tired and stressful early days. Whether single or married, older or younger, loving every second of pregnancy or sick as a dog, got pregnant as a happy surprise or had infertility struggles - none of us is alone, and we are all represented in this book.These are women birthed in community. But, they didn't have epidurals. They didn't have birth plans. They treated menstrual cycles and childbirth as dirty. And, sometimes, I think we still treat the whole process the same way.
