Both of Carl Schmitt's »Political Theologies« remain controversial to this day. Despite their contextual disparity at first glance, the two publications represent core points in a movement of thought whose political implications still are a source of fascination for many. The deeper relation between Theology and Politics, as suggested by the German jurist, leads to a both radical and ingenious critique of liberal models of society.
