This book presents new findings of ancient Cypriot terra cottas from Miletus and discusses their status in the Southeast Aegean complex of Cypriot ceramics. The study emphasizes classification based on style and production techniques. Most of the figures seem to originate from only a few workshops, and were sponsored by the local population in the few decades before 630 BCE.
